Modern slavery
Modern slavery statement.
Our position on slavery and human trafficking in our business and our supply chain.
Last updated 14 October 2026.
Our position
IQ Money does not tolerate slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour or human trafficking, in our own business or in any part of our supply chain.
We publish this statement voluntarily. Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 requires a statement from commercial organisations with an annual turnover of £36 million or more, and we are below that threshold. We publish it because the standard is one we hold ourselves to regardless of whether we are obliged to.
Our business
We work with owner-managed companies in the United Kingdom on saving tax and growing profit. We are a small team and our work is professional and office-based.
Our supply chain
Our supply chain is short and consists almost entirely of services bought in the United Kingdom: software and hosting, professional services such as accountancy and legal advice, marketing and design, office premises and equipment.
We assess the risk of modern slavery in our own operations as low, given the nature of the work and the fact that the people working for us are directly engaged and paid at or above the statutory minimum. We recognise that risk is higher further down the supply chains of the goods we buy, particularly hardware and office supplies.
What we do about it
- Recruitment. It is our policy to check the identity and right to work of everyone we engage, and to pay directly into an account in that person's own name.
- Suppliers. We expect our suppliers to meet the same standard we set ourselves, and to be able to say how they meet it. Where a supplier is large enough to publish its own statement, we expect to be able to find it.
- Review. Where a supplier cannot satisfy us on this point, we are prepared to take our business elsewhere.
Raising a concern
Anyone who works with us or for us can raise a concern about modern slavery, in confidence, by writing to mark@iqmoney.co.uk. Concerns are taken seriously, investigated, and reported to the police where there is any reason to think an offence has been committed. Nobody will suffer any detriment for raising a concern in good faith.
Training
We make everyone who joins us aware of this statement and of what modern slavery looks like in a business context, so that the people choosing our suppliers know what to watch for.
Approval
This statement is approved by those responsible for running IQ Money and is reviewed every year.
